For our client — a specialist in cleaning and waste-related services on ships and land-based sites — we are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who can properly manage tools and materials to support ongoing projects.

What will you be doing?
Your colleagues leave daily from the warehouse in Rotterdam to projects in the Waalhaven area. Thanks to your efforts in managing and maintaining materials and PPE, everything they need is ready to go. You register outgoing goods and communicate them to the operations department.
Once the team leaves, you focus on repairing damaged tools or arranging external repairs. A delivery you ordered yesterday has arrived — you check the delivery note and pass it on to the invoicing team. To maintain stock levels, you carry out regular inventory counts and ensure the warehouse stays clean and organized.
Later that day, you get a call: a hose broke at a project site. You arrange for a replacement to be delivered immediately.
You’ll regularly work more than 40 hours per week — so flexibility and a proactive mindset are key
Who are you?
- Available to work 40 hours per week
- Willing to work overtime or weekends when needed
- Quick to switch between tasks and priorities
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Stress-resistant and confident in your role
- Proactive communicator with your colleagues
- Technically skilled and hands-on
What are the job requirements?
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a warehouse worker or supervisor
- Experience with a wall crane is a plus
- Affinity or experience with cleaning and/or maritime industry
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks
- In possession of a valid driving license B (E is a plus)
- In possession of a VCA certificate or willing to obtain one within 3 months
- Physically able to perform the described tasks
