Vacancy introduction
We are looking for an Industrial Painter for a large shortsea terminal in Rotterdam Europoort. In this role, you will paint and maintain large port cranes up to 40 meters high. You work at height using aerial work platforms and make sure the equipment looks good and is technically well-maintained.
What can you expect from us?
Salary between €2.600 and €3.100 gross per month (depends on your experience and certificates).

What will you be doing?
Your day starts with a team briefing, where safety and planning are discussed. Then, you begin work — alone or with colleagues — sanding, derusting, priming, and painting crane parts. You often work with an aerial work platform, so being comfortable at height is important. No two days are the same: sometimes you focus on one crane, other times on smaller parts.
Your tasks include:
• Painting port cranes up to 40 meters high
• Operating aerial lifts and other equipment
• Surface preparation (cleaning, sanding, priming)
• Working safely at height according to procedures
• Teamwork at a fixed terminal location
Who are you?
You’re not afraid of heights and enjoy working outdoors in an industrial setting. You know how to work safely with aerial platforms — or you’re willing to learn. You’re detail-oriented, work neatly, and like seeing the results of your work.
What are the job requirements?
- Experience as a painter, industrial painter, or façade cleaner is a plus
• No fear of heights — able to work up to 40 meters
• Able to operate an aerial lift or willing to learn (certificate is a plus)
• You work safely, precisely, and independently
• VCA certificate (or willing to obtain it)
• You speak Dutch or English
• Preferably living in the Rotterdam or Europoort region
