What will you be doing?

As an operator-mechanic you are responsible for the versatile technical functioning. You will be working at diverse locations, for example shipyards, tank storage terminals and refineries etc.

You will work from ship-to-ship with a pump system removing liquid products from tanks.
You will be dealing with technical issues as the possibility may arise of a defect coupling or pump system.
You must have the knowledge to act correctly in diverse situations. Together with your colleagues you get the job done.

You have technical insight, are proactive and stress-resistant.
You execute the operation correctly.
You stand for service and quality; you are flexible and do not have a 9 to 5 mentality.
You are available for a minimum of 40 hrs per week.
You work according to safety rules and legislation.
You live in the Rotterdam Waalhaven area.

What are the job requirements?

You have secondary education working and thinking level.
You have affinity with installation and technics.
Work experience as an operator is not a requirement.
You are well motivated and willing to learn the trade.
You are in possession of a valid driver’s license, BE driver’s license is a pre.
You have a valid SCC certificate.
If you have the following certificates, this is an advantage: Welding, aerial work platform, walking crane or forklift certificate.
